Evaluations
During our first session, we will begin with an informal or formal evaluation depending on the family's concerns and needs. Through conversation, observation, checklist-style forms, and when necessary, standardized testing, we will develop a comprehensive understanding of your child's unique abilities and challenges. We will also use this time to discuss your priorities and develop appropriate meaningful goals based on your daily routines and immediate needs.
Therapy
We believe in treating the child, not the diagnosis. Whether your child has a previous diagnosis of a speech or language delay, childhood apraxia of speech, or developmental delay, etc., we will target skills that are important to your child and family.

Our sessions will consist of parent coaching, observation of parent-child interactions with feedback, and, when appropriate, direct therapy with your child. During our sessions, you will gain important information on how children develop language and the role you play in your child’s development. You will learn specific strategies, why these strategies are important to speech and language development, and how to implement them into your daily routines.
